Notes about projects, thoughts, and observations done after hours.
Level C - Certified Brand Specialist
The Brand Strategy Masterclass LV1 was a total grind that injected me with principles, definitions, and techniques that fuel disruptive thinking. In only three days, my team was challenged to create a concept to disrupt the mental wellness industry. Long story short, our concept was well received, and we as a team passed and were formally recognized as Brand Specialists.
13 logos published in Logo Lounge vol. 12
The most rewarding moment in the creative process is when the look & feel of a freshly designed logo aligns with the project goal. Project goals differ from client to client, so that means the execution of a logo is always different. I don’t have a particular style, but to always make quality logo designs that last.
New Work for No B.S. Kitchen
As the service industry crumbles, it leaves an opportunity that’s made clear—kitchens without seating. Meals can be prepped and made ready for pick up without the risk of infection. Cutting out the experience of dining-in is easier now than ever.
What I Learned From My Time as a Dishwasher
Over the past few months of quarantine, I’ve been consuming my fair share of podcasts and books by thought leaders in design and business. I find myself listening more carefully when they get on the topic of their childhood and upbringing.
Find Home (a concept brand)
The process of creating the visual identity for a brand can take a lot of effort. In the early stages, multiple directions are explored with the objective of communicating the style and personality of the brand. These explorations are then refined and presented as separate directions to a client and the client ultimately chooses what direction they want to move forward with.
New Work for ESC
Summer is here but so is a global pandemic. It’s summer to say the least and that means sweat, social distancing, and the unrealistic standard of achieving a visible* six-pack. Ephrata Strength & Conditioning hired me to designed their summer line of apparel inspired by neon lights and island getaways. Remember, sunscreen is your friend.
New Work for Atoms Shoes
I had the pleasure of working with Atoms Shoes for their artist series to highlight the importance of comfort and movement, especially during these weird times.
Lumi (a concept brand)
Between client work, I do a lot of conceptual brand explorations that are purely self-motivated. These brands aren’t real but the thought and attention are. So, instead of those projects only existing on my Instagram, I wanted to start sharing those conceptional explorations here on my Journal page more often.
New Work for Support NYC
As the Covid-19 virus plagues NYC, we are reminded everyday about the long-term damage it will have on the small businesses we take for granted. The service industry is crippled with mandatory shut downs and some small business might not survive this pandemic
2019 Year in Review
A small view of larger projects I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked on alongside very talented individuals. I moved from an agency that focuses on digital start-ups to a small studio that focuses on hospitality.
