2018 Outstanding Young Alumni Award
I was slow to enter into the Club Crest Challenge for a few reasons; 1. I know little to nothing about soccer (or football if that's your thing), and 2. I could barely find time to eat let alone redesign a soccer crest, and 3. I don't have a favorite soccer team. The combination of those points made me feel like maybe this wasn't going to be something I would do well in.

Forward Progress
Planning for the future is usually wasted energy if you're still struggling with what direction to go. Whether that's about your career or what type of bagel to order with your breakfast sandwich (go with an everything bagel). Instead of thinking broad, think small steps.
2017 Year in Review
It's not hard to glance back at 2017 and not picture a garbage fire but let's not get too critical. Closing in and reflecting on my own growth as a person and creative, I noticed things that I hope to get better at in 2018. Not in the sense of creating New Year Resolutions but more so knowing what I should continue doing in the new year.
A Better Way to Say Thank You
I have a box of scrap paper that I use whenever I need something to write on. It's full of a mix of rejected prints and white & black paper stock. These are especially useful when I'm doing flat-lays or need a studio-like backdrop. On the very top of the pile are smaller scraps of paper that I use for thank you cards. When I say thank you cards—I mean randomly cut paper that I scribble thank you notes on whenever someone purchases a product of mine.

Knowledge and Experiences
I have this ritual I do everything morning that I started when I was young. When I would wake up, the first thing would I do while gazing at my ceiling is think “what do I want to do today”. I would factor in the weather, the time, and my resources and come up with a handful of options. And when I decided, normally while in the shower, I would do it. Normally I would do it alone.
